EVERYTHING MISREMEMBERED 

with Steve Rushton and Luci Eyers

In this talk, Steve Rushton and Luci Eyers will discuss their collaboration in the 1990’s on early internet-based projects as a part of the collective Everything Editorial. Their online projects included ‘The London Borough of Cramley’ a fictional, satirical Council website which enthusiastically supported artists and technology; and webcasts at the ICA under the guise of eBC (everything Broadcasting Corporation). These projects were attempts to build their own art infrastructures which other artists could engage with and where conversations about art and technology could play out.

Bios:
Steve Rushton is an artist and writer, teaching Experimental Publishing at the Piet Zwart Institute, Rotterdam. His ongoing project The Fabulous Loop de Loop investigates notions of feedback.

Luci Eyers is a painter and educator and founded Eye to Pencil. Drawing is at the core of her work. She works predominantly from her memory.
