The Back 2 School Show

Our final term at Eye to Pencil, 'The Drawing Lab', will open with 'Back 2 School'. A show comprised of over 20 alumni who ran graduate drawing workshops from 2022-2024. Their thoughtful yet experimental approaches prompted us to curate this exhibition, testing what a drawing might be and how the medium is used in different contexts. Drawing as theory, fashion - as daydream, map, fantasy - as schematic, a doll, a diagram, and as moving image. Transforming the studio into a reimagined school room the show will run from 17-22 September.

We welcome you to the Private View on Monday, 16 September, 6-9pm.

There will be a Finissage on Saturday, 21 September, 4-6pm with a talk between Claire Buchanan, artist Areena Ang, designer Mack Pegram, and curators Issey Kang and Alex Heard.
