Mario Veselinov is leading his first workshop with us in the studio this term, and will be exploring the use of repetition and iteration as a resourceful way to experiment with drawing approaches.
In this workshop with Mario, we will be seeing how drawing the same image repeatedly can create a kind of intimacy with a subject, and getting into a state of flow more easily. Mario describes this workshop as perfect for drawers who are trying to get over a creative block. We will explore mark making, colour and tone, seeing what arises from the repetition of imagery.
