Making a story-tale zine with rabbit

Tuesday, 14 March, 10am-4pm (1 hour lunch break)
Location: Studio, 26 Exmouth Market, EC1 4QE 

Inspired by fairy tales and stories. Rabbit uses illustration to document her feelings into a quirky story tale. She works on a small scale in sketchbooks, drawing designs for new collections, and often makes small zines to accompany her work.

We will start by doing some blind drawings from images of films, pictures from her family allotment, children’s books and creatures. Then these will be used to inspire your own story that you will draw into a small zine/ A5 books which Sophie will lead you in folding and filling.

Sophie Spratley Bio
Sophie founded her high fashion brand ‘rabbit’ a few months after graduating. Less than one year later, rabbit launched at the renowned stockist DOVER STREET MARKET, London in July 2022. She has since been featured in i-D, Hypebae, Bricks and Metal Magazine. Her clothes have an ethereal beauty of vintage garments that hold their own stories. These stories are particularly captured in the illustrative prints screen-printed on skirts or knitted into cropped jumpers.
