TELLING STORIES: the power of sequential art

Monday, 23 January, 10am-4pm (1 hour lunchbreak)

Location: Studio, 26 Exmouth Market, EC1 4QE

Sarah Lippett is an artist and award winning graphic novelist. In this workshop participants will be guided through a series of exercises, exploring the power of visual storytelling by developing and adapting their own memories into visual narratives. The stories will be collated into a short zine.

Sarah has said that: “Stories have the power to affect the way we see the world... Sharing our own experiences and those of others in the sequential format of the graphic novel can help us and others make sense of our place and identity in the world.
