Anne Ryan is an artist who works across materials, incorporating ceramics, steel, card, and collage into her cutouts. These  3D constructions coexist in installations with paintings, drawings and found material. In the last year she has had shows in contemporary museums across the UK. Anne will be coming into the studio to talk about her recent installations: Fighting on the Dancefloor at Phoenix Exeter; and as part of ‘Poor Things’ at Fruitmarket Gallery, Edinburgh.

Anne’s work is widely shown. She maintains a sense of humour and generosity of spirit both in her work and in her teaching.
